KERSA - a German family company since 1925.
The family business KERSA has been THE specialist for hand puppets and finger puppets for traditional Punch and Judy shows since 1925 and vouches for responsible, sustainable quality "Made in Germany". For this reason, KERSA makes no compromises and, without exception, delivers the highest quality "Made in Germany". That means: the production is exclusively in Germany.
From the idea to the implementation, all KERSA hand puppets and finger puppets have to pass a variety of tests. KERSA tests together with experienced educators, in families, kindergartens and in crawling groups. Educators and parents make recommendations before a new KERSA puppet is developed until it is ready for series production.
The harmony of shapes, colors and environmentally friendly raw materials gives you unmatched puppet figures. Each KERSA model is individually designed by the artist and thus becomes a small personality with unique character.
The lovingly manufactured hand puppets and finger puppets are manufactured under the strict guidelines of the "Oeko-Tex Standard 100". Multiple awards are a guarantee that your children can have good experiences in dealing with "their" world.
The KERSA Punch and Judy figures promote:
Communication:
KERSA Punch and Judy figures promote learning and dealing with language. When playing with KERSA hand puppets and finger puppets, the child unconsciously pours out his heart: it brings his own impressions and experiences from concrete everyday situations into the game.
Creativity:
KERSA products do not require a power button or batteries, they are operated with the sheer energy of the imagination. Children practice roles, fantasize about a world where everything seems possible, experiment, discover or invent themselves.
Sustainability - Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):
- HISTORY / MANAGEMENT
KERSA has been an owner-managed family business for 4 generations. Economic success as well as an awareness of "creating sustainable values" characterise the corporate culture. Social and ecological concerns are a lived tradition and aspiration at KERSA in order to leave a positive influence and footprint on our world.
- PRODUCTS / RESOURCES
In all its products, KERSA is guided by the aspects of sustainability. Long-lasting products that are not subject to short-lived trends and that can be repaired instead of being thrown away are the claim - according to the motto: "Toys for future". When selecting materials for further development and redesign, KERSA pays attention to the possibility of easy recycling and uses the same components as far as possible. Every product is a "clean product" in order to optimise the consumption of resources. At KERSA, sustainability begins with product design. Design, development and manufacturing are all done in Mindelheim - 100 % Made in Germany.
- EMPLOYEES
Human resources work is an essential part of corporate value creation. The heart of KERSA is committed and motivated employees who feel comfortable in their workplace. The best possible development of talents, intensive cooperation, mutual trust and respect as well as independent action are important success factors of the extremely low fluctuation of the company.
- LOGISTICS
In its transport logistics processes, KERSA selects parcel service providers according to their CO2 neutrality and climate balance. Due to the consistent avoidance of waste as well as the conservation of resources, packaging materials are used according to sustainability aspects and recycled several times. Packing volume optimisation is achieved by fully loaded shipping cartons. To further minimise the ecological impact, KERSA does not use individual packaging.
- SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
KERSA concentrates all its activities when making donations in the areas of education and training, nature, culture and society as well as sports promotion in the region in order to create "more value" there.
